1. Is Liberty Christian Preparatory School accredited?
Yes, LCP holds accreditation with the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS)and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).

2. What curriculum is used at LCP?
The preschool and elementary classes use a combination of A Beka, Positive Action, and Bob Jones Press texts. The secondary students will transition to e-books with Bob Jones Press curriculum, as well as supplemental applications that are compatible for iPad usage. Students will also participatein a variety of courses with Florida Virtual School. Qualified students are encouraged to complete honors classes on campus, AP classes through Florida Virtual School, and dual enrollment courses with Lake-Sumter State College.

3. Are the teachers certified?
Yes, 100% of the instructional staff at LCP are certified through FACCS and hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.

4. Does LCP offer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten?
Yes, LCP participates in the state VPK program. Students must be 4 years old prior to September 1st of the current school year.  There is no charge forthe ½ day VPK program. Wrap around services are available for aweekly fee for students who need full day care.

5. Do students wear uniforms?
Yes, our students are required to wear uniforms.  All previous branded uniforms will be grandfathered in and may continue to be worn during the 2014-2015 school year.  New uniform shirts featuring the new Liberty Christian Prep logo will be available for purchase.

6. Do your teachers offer academic support?
Yes, LCP teachers provide tutoring after school to assist students in achieving academic success. Our teachers have a heart for our students and partner with parents to prepare the students to meet their academic goals.

7. What measure does Liberty take to ensure the safety of our children?
All outside doors are secured between 8:15 am – 2:45 pm, with access to the school only available through the front lobby upon permission. Security cameras monitor and record activity in the main lobby, as well as all hallways and major entrances.

10. Does LCP provide any financial aid?
Currently, Liberty accepts the Step Up for Students scholarship (based on eligibility) provided by the State of Florida. Information on this scholarship can be found online at www.StepUpForStudents.org
