Esports has taken off at Liberty Christian Prep during its inaugural season. LCP has two teams of five players each who participate in 6th-8th grade esports. Mr. Jayson Roach is the coach, and so far LCP Team 1 is undefeated! LCP Team 1 played Heritage Prep on Thursday, October 27th at 4:45 and won all four matches that were played. LCP Team 1 includes Micah Palmer, Delaney Thomas, Jameer McMahon, Joseph Bruinsma, and Cole Shepherd. Team 2 played their first game of the season tonight, but did not come away with a win. They fought hard and did not give up. LCP Team 2 includes Ian Elmatti, Isaiah Thomas, Ethan Thomas, Mason Howe, and Logan Lee. The next esports game will be Thursday, November 3rd in the church lobby.
